Our Story

A personal vision
for Bordeaux.

A grand Bordeaux château reflected in a still pond at golden hour
“Bordeaux is not simply a wine region — it is a world built on patience, precision, and an almost fierce love of place.”

Glass of Emotions was born from a simple but deeply held conviction: that Bordeaux deserves to be experienced properly. Not at speed, not in a group of forty, and not through the glass of someone reading from a printed sheet. It deserves to be felt.

Founded by Evgeniy Gomenyuk, Glass of Emotions grew from years of immersion in the culture, estates, and people of Bordeaux wine country. Trained in wine education and driven by a genuine passion for hospitality, he set out to create something most visitors never access — an experience that is personal, unhurried, and real.

What sets Glass of Emotions apart is not what we offer, but how we offer it. There are no packages here, no fixed itineraries, and no seats to fill. Every encounter is shaped around the person in front of us — their curiosity, their pace, and their sense of what a perfect Bordeaux afternoon should feel like.

We work with a carefully chosen circle of estates, cellar masters, and artisan producers across the Gironde — selected not for fame alone, but for the quality of what they make and the generosity with which they share it.

We never work with large groups. We rarely offer the same experience twice. And we never, under any circumstances, treat a guest like a tourist.

Three principles that guide
every experience we design

Curated with intention

Nothing is left to chance. Every estate, every pour, and every moment is chosen with care — because what surrounds you shapes what you feel, and what you feel is what stays with you.

Rooted in place

Bordeaux is not a backdrop — it is the point. We introduce you to the people, landscapes, and rhythms of a region shaped by centuries of human dedication.

Designed around emotion

We measure success not by what was tasted, but by how it felt to leave: having understood something, seen something, and touched something that remains long after the glass is empty.

Evgeniy Gomenyuk

Founder & Experience Curator

Evgeniy came to Bordeaux the way many do — drawn by the wine, and then kept by everything else. The landscape, the people, and the way a single vineyard can hold an entire philosophy within its rows.

Over time, that fascination became a vocation. He built relationships across the Gironde with family estates, cellar masters, and producers who make wine not for the market, but for the love of it. These are the encounters he now brings to his guests.

What Evgeniy brings to every experience is a rare combination: the knowledge of a sommelier, the warmth of a natural host, and an instinct for the details that turn a good afternoon into something genuinely memorable.

Glass of Emotions is, at its heart, a reflection of his belief that the finest experiences are not the grandest, but the most considered.
